As we prepare for our second rally and march, our focus is with supporting the outcome from the Inquiry Management of Cat Populations NSW & seeking further funding to expand the initial initiatives for funded desexing programs and human behaviour change programs already proven successful across many NSW councils.
[This section is a WIP, and the messages & images will be uploaded over the next weeks.]

For the inaugural rally in 2025, we were supported by the top cat advocates in Australia and NSW. Their full messages were provided during that rally, and the following brief words are very relevant to our second rally. As we have requested further funding for all of these organisations, we have created a conflict of interest for their involvement in our second rally.
Many cat rescuers and carers have been successfully working with these organisations and their teams for many years to collaboratively improve welfare for cats across NSW. This is reflected in these brief messages included in our second rally.

We greatly appreciate the wealth of expert information based on scientific evidence that is created and gathered by the Australian Pet Welfare Foundation. Their expertise over years is leading our nation towards humane, cost / justified, and practical ways into the future for all cats, other pets, and those who care for them. We are more than pleased the APWF takes on board our concerns and lived experiences.

Independent cat rescuers and carers have been assisting our communities and the RSPCA teams in advancing desexing with owners and semi owners (ourselves and others).
These relationships and efforts were leveraged in the first round of the Keeping Cats Safe at Home program, and again, now more intensively in the second round of this beneficial program.
